Description
I am a Linux newby. I have installed your system using a downloaded .iso on an IBM P4 newvista desktop. System has 2 NICs, lots of ram & disk space. It is a clean install. After the install I did a software update, set up the network etc and all seems to work well. the problem is that if I leave the system for some period of time(exactly how long I don't know) when I return the system has lost all responsiveness ie. 5 mins. to get a response from the management consol, 4 minutes to logon to the server as root. If I reboot all returns to normal until the next time it is left for an extended period of time.
I am not sure if this is where I should send this request, if not I apologize.
I don't know where to start....
Regards
Peter
This seems to be a known issue with DHCP configured interfaces which should be fixed now,
