Description

Hi,

How are Users given ssh access into the ebox server. Use Case: Business server would like to give users access to their files without using windows shares. Users would like to ssh in (via WinSCP or Gnome/KDE desktop) and access their files on the server.

How does one achieve this?

Regards, Danson Joseph

Hello,

we don't intend to give users shell access. File sharing by eBox is porvided by SMB shares and we do not try to provide all configurations.

However if you want to give users ssh access the only thing you ought to do is to change ssh daemon configuration files and restart it. Ssh is not managed by eBox so not addtional changes are required.

Cheers,

Javier
