Description

Hy eBox Team!

I have on a sever set up with 4 HDD and two of them are used as raid1. After installing the ubuntu version 8.10 Intrepid I also installed the eBox like described on your page (unstable version for intrepid). How ever, after configuration of all modules I want to enable the file sharing module and got an maybe internal error. The working steps are described below and also attached as images

1.) Module Status --> enable File Sharing 2.) Configure module: samba --> Accept 3.) Result --> An internal error has ocurred. This is most probably a bug, relevant information can be found in the logs.

Please let me know if you need more information about that issue. Thanks!

Best regards, Robert

Hey guys,

There was a bug in the ebox-printers package in our ebox-unstable repository which prevented the file sharing module from being used in Intrepid. I'm uploading a new package right now. You will be able to upgrade in a few minutes.

Could you please upgrade your ebox-printers module and confirm you can enable the module?

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience!
