Research existing DVD-backup tools

First, backup module will only dump backups to DVD.

Take a look at existing tools, like backup-manager or amanda cdrw-taper.

Don't forget our goal now is simplicity, and using CD/DVD media.

I will rather discard amanda and bacula because there are overkill.

Some other candidates found:

It seems adequate but I discard this because there is not debian package. If other solutions fail we can make a package ourselves

THis seems be feature complete and is in debian repositories, but lefts the dvd-burning to the use, so i discard it.

I found a bunch of dvd burnings scripts; if all else fails we may use them

It seems feature-complet, has dvd and cd support and it has a official debian package. I rather use this.

To use backup-manager we will need to use deiban testing package so we must ponder if it is woth it

We conclude that any of the backup tools has too much overhead for our purposes and does not fit well with the new design We will use cdreocrd, mkisofs and growisofs
