Description
need your help please. Trying to set up external mail retrieval. Finally fetchmail arrived, but...
For pop3s:
- My email-provider requires/accepts only my user name/password
- Ebox-module (user corner) requires my complete external mail address/password and does not accept only the user name (unvalid email address)
In the fetchmailrc the complete email address is used as username (not accepted by the mail server)
Can you configure the ebox-module to accept usernames in any form? Is there a quick fix to the problem?
Best regards
heidi

unfortunately this does not solve my problem.
My mail-service provider requires me to present my account name in the form 12345-abcde (yes my account name does include the "-") When I do this in the user corner I get the "Not a valid External account username" message and no fetchmailrc is created.
Actually several of my external accounts contain a "-" (and they work in fetchmailrc) Funny enough "." and "_" are accepted in the user corner.
Hope sincerely that you can fix it...
