How to share folder on other drive on ebox

Hi first of all thank you for this great job, but i have one question is there a way of choosing a folder to share on ebox, i try to add the share folder in samba configuration (smb.conf) and it work the only problem is when i change something on ebox the samba configuration (smb.conf) return back to default..

Hi,

First of all, ebox is meant to be used as is. That means if you miss a feature you should wait until it is added in future releases. One of the reasons is that it will be very difficult for us to provide support if everyone modifies the sources of their installation.

Having said that, if you are still interested in doing that, you have to bear in mind that /etc/samba/smb.conf is regenerated everytime ebox is restared and something relating to samba is modified. The file that you should modify is in /usr/share/ebox/stubs/smb.conf.mas (i'm telling you the location without check it because i don't have an ebox right now, do a dpkg -L ebox-samba if it's not there).
