I just configured zentyal and then the user module crashes.

It seems your LDAP is missing objects that should have been added to it. Try to reinstall you LDAP with the command: /usr/share/ebox-usersandgroups/ebox-usersandgroups-reinstall

Since you have just installed it there is not risk of losing important data.
