Hi guys,

I didn't raise this ticket but what I think they are trying to say is that you haven't installed guest additions before making the Virtualbox image.

This makes it impossible to use the mouse and thus the image.

You can workaround by breaking out of the boot sequence and installing per the virtual box instructions - I'm in the middle of it no - but not everyone can do so.....

The system looks good though.

Best Wishes,

Dog

Thanks for the acclaration Dog.

However I have used virtualbox for months with different Zentyal installers and always mouse was working. I am using the version 4.1.12 as is it found in Ubuntu precise.

Maybe you have an older version?.

I am closing this because is a VirtualBox? specific problem.

Regards,

Javier

I also experience the problem with the mouse not working when trying the VirtualBox Zentyal image.

I solved it for now by disabling mouse integration for the machine from the menu Machine->Disable mouse integration.
