LDAP modules don't get started

Reported by: innocenti_jr Owned by: cperez@…
Milestone: 2.2 Component: users
Severity: critical Keywords:

Description

Since v2.1.8 of the user module Zentyal's having trouble to start services/modules which depend on LDAP.

To reproduce please reboot or do a "/etc/init.d/zentyal restart". I attached the output of the latter.

Seems like Zentyal tries to talk to LDAP before it's started.

(This is not a duplicate of #3063.)

Hi,

I don't see any errors in the log you attached. Do you have any other interesting trace?

My pulled out hair? ;-)

I attached the relevant lines from zentyal.log.

Apart from the LDAP stuff, Zentyal's apache module does not start, too.

See:  http://forum.zentyal.org/index.php/topic,7763.0.html

Manually restarting it works -- this applies to all other, unstarted modules as well.

  • Status changed from new to closed
  • Resolution set to fixed

This should be fixed in the last released packages, reopen if you reproduce it after upgrade

Thanks, I can confirm that it's fixed now.
(zentyal-core v2.1.29 and zentyal-users v2.1.11)
