Error on Configuration Report

Hi,

I have problem on both following tasks

• [System] [Configuration Report]
• [System] [Import-Export Configuration] when performing "Backup the Current State".

The problem occurs several month ago, probably due a module remove.

The current environment is:

Core version 2.0.23

The debug mode is already set in /etc/ebox/99ebox.conf

Hello Marco and thanks for your report,

Do you remember what module you removed?.

Anyway, we could try this workaround. Go to Events -> Configure Watchers. Select configuration of Log Observer. Look around if it is something strange. Then try again the configuration report.

Please, reply back whether it continues to fail or it works correctly.

I removed all unnecessary modules, including Watchers.

Please note I removed the Zential Cloud and VPN module due the server reports it was not able to reach the cloud infrastructure on network 10.x.x.x (due a DNS error ???).

I have NO PHYSICAL ACCESS to the server also.

Is there any configuration files I can send you? or can you provide me some detailed suggestions where see and what you consider "something strange"? Unfortunately I have no background on Perl.

In the dumping sequence, which is the module next events? (just to focus on it)

Hello Marco,

I cannot say what is the module next for events because this is not a fixed sequence.

Could you try to go to the Configure Watches -> Log Observer configuration screen and look for something strange?. For something strange I mean a listed module which is not installed or any out of range value. In fact just going there could trigger a reevaluation of present modules and if we are lucky, fix the problem.

For this last reason, I suggest also to do a trivial change in the Log Observe configuration, save changes and try the configuration report again.
