Sorry but Ubuntu 11.04 is not yet supported by Zentyal. Zentyal Server is based on Ubuntu lucid (10.04) so your steps are correct, but not your Ubuntu version

Let me add that result code 1 means operational error so surely it has nothing to do which your configuration but in the steps done by Zentyal to prepare the LDAP for use. So it is clearly a problem of using a newer version.
