Traducido y en detalle:

El CD de instalación instala el kernel para K7 que es (supuestamente) incompatible con con un K6, resultando en un reseteo continuo.

Tambien he notado el mismo síntoma con el Ubuntu Server pero no he dado (ni buscado) la causa. ¿Problema del instalador de Debian (punto en común)?

Esto tiene buena pinta... ¡estoy frito por probarlo! ;)
