It seems a Linux Kernel problem on loading in your notebook. You can give a try to a new kernel instead of one which comes with the eBox installer.
There's a guide to do so.
Thanks for your support and the feedback!

Is there a way to pass parameters to the booting kernel? I find that one of the boxes i'm installing ebox on halts the same way described by headroom27@… i know i have to pass pci=nommconf for it to work (found it when installing rhel to a similar box) but i can't seem to be able to do that.
install pci=nommconf gives Could not find kernel image: install
same goes for install26 install24 expert expert24 expert26 or rescue
Hello,
Could you tell us where the installation hangs up? At the kernel loading, at the second boot?
Thanks for your support!
