Contributor Agreement
About the agreement
As in case of many other open source projects, the Zentyal project requires contributors to jointly assign their copyright on contributed code. The Zentyal Contributor Agreement (ZCA) gives eBox Technologies S.L. and the Contributor joint copyright interests in the code: the Contributor retains copyrights and simultaneously grants the same rights to eBox Technologies, sponsor of the Zentyal open source project.
The "Contributor Agreement" does not change the rights or responsibilities of the Zentyal community under the General Public License 2.0 (GPL 2.0). By signing the ZCA, contributors protect the Zentyal code base, enable alternative licensing models, and protect the flexibility to adapt the project to the changing demands of the community. Please review the ZCA to guarantee that you fully understand all terms and conditions.
Please note that with the aim of tracking Contributors and thanking you for your contribution, we will add your full name and Zentyal Forum username in the List of Official Zentyal Contributors at our web site.
Instructions for submitting the agreement
- Download and print out the http://www.zentyal.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Zentyal_Contributor_Agreement.pdf.
- Sign the agreement.
- Send the signed agreement to eBox Technologies as a digital image: Scan or photograph your signed agreement and email it to info AT zentyal DOT com
