Zentyal 2.3

2.3.x is the new development series for Zentyal 3.0. In these first set of packages you shouldn't expect a lot of new features as the main focus is on transitioning from Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid to Ubuntu 12.04 Precise. We have also changed our logs database backend from PostgreSQL to MySQL, so feedback about the logs module is specially welcome.

Please take into account that not all of the packages are available yet, just It was about time to start working on the next LTS release and we are happy to announce that we already have the following packages ready:

They can be installed from the following PPA on any already installed Ubuntu Server 12.04:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/zentyal/2.3/ubuntu precise main

We're also trying to upload them to the official Ubuntu universe repository.

We will be publishing more packages in the following days and also a first Zentyal 2.3 installer ISOs as soon as our new installer based on the Precise one is ready.
